Spring Skincare!

Now that Spring is here, so is the harsh winds of the months. These winds take a toll on your hair and your skin. Exfoliating is the NEW thing. When you put your makeup on for the day REMEMBER to clean and exfoliate your skin for the night. The wind will dry out your skin so much that it will crack and show off the "dead" skin on your face.  By exfoliating you are removing the old, peeling, dry patches that are randomly all over your face. Not washing your face after applying foundation and blush will only increase your dry patches on your face. Making applying foundation on top look horrible. Here is an example of what that looks like.
Typically, dry patches on the face are not as serious! BUT once you apply foundation you will notice dry patches, if you don't wash and exfoliate. Also, hydrating your skin afterwards will improve the smoothness of your skin. A moisturizer with SPF is the best way to go. Even a foundation with SPF will reduce the risk of dry patches. If you have never done any of these steps before I suggest using a Sensitive cleaner and moisturizer. So that your skin doesn't become irritated or in worst cases you have a break out!

I have seen many reviews on EXPENSIVE facial exfoliators, but I am only going to be using Drugstore products.  At Walmart you should be able to purchase a Neutrogen Microdermabrasion cleaning kit for roughly $20.00!! This product has Pads instead of bristles for a more sensitive exfoliation. Although if you prefer bristles, for $22.00 you can purchase Olay Professional Pro-X Advanced Cleaning System
Remember after exfoliating MOISTURIZE!
